Veronica was born in Melbourne Victoria and attended St Leonards Presbyterean Girls School. At the age of thirteen she moved, with her family, to Adelaide South Australia, where she attended Woodlands Church of England Girls Grammar School and then Metropolitan Business College. She went to work for Prudential Insurance Company as a typist and ended her employment there as secretary to the representatives. In her twenties she settled in Perth Western Australia, worked as a secretary, married, ran small businesses with her former husband and raised two children.
Since divorcing she has worked in telemarketing and market research, while studying novel writing, editing and proofreading and writing her first novel Indonesian Betrayal, which has been published by Bookpal. The first draft of a further novel, The Life and Death of Lily, is now finished.
Veronica is currently studying Journalism and is the mother of Perth fashion designer Elena Serra www.elenaserra.com and the mother-in-law of well-known Perth restaurant owner Jason Jujnovich of Divido in Mt Hawthorn Western Australia www.divido.com.au
